My husband has been offered a postion in Pago Pago and we are considering moving there. We live in the US mid-west and have some general questions I thought someone could answer for us. How serious a threat are the hurricanes and typhones, what are living expenses like there (price of gas, food, utuilities), what are the schools like? I am and licensed practial nurse, do you think I could find a job easily there? It sounds beautiful, but before we accept the postion and move my entire family there away from the rest of our family and support system I would appreciate a little more insight into the area.
